How rich you are in knitting history,
I am shocked that knitting is so cute and admirable.

Smart post, outstanding brain.

I think I recognize the doll they used to model the baby sweaters. And can you believe twenty five cents for a pattern book?

The gloves and mittens are timeless. Wouldn't young ladies love a few beads on the back of their gloves?

Thanks for sharing your treasures!

What fun to peruse! I particularly love vintage baby patterns ~ the matching bonnets and sweaters are too precious.

My mom had the mittens and gloves book. Just seeing it, brings back memories of her. She always had a project in the works.

It's great fun to take a spin down memory lane through old photos/magazines/books like these!

I know that my Mom, aged 86, has some of those knitting books! Fun pictures!

Wow, that baby doesn't even look real! Or maybe it isn't a baby at all... scary.

Just a thought. Why do the 'knitting for men' fashions look socontemporary?
