Friday Fave Five

I'm late to the party for FFF today! That's because I am in San Diego with my kids!

1. So, my first fave is obviously--being with my sons and daughters for the weekend!

2. A walk with Ellen. These walks are precious times because when Ellen moves, they will end.

3. Earl Grey tea with Ellen (yes, it's a theme) at our favorite tea shop All Things Tea.

4. The Professor bought me a latte at The Panini Place after we shopped for our fruits and vegetables at the Farmers Market.

5. Coffeetime on Sunday morning with the Blueberry Lady and her husband.

6. A bonus fave: the weather was warm last weekend, so while the Professor trimmed the plum tree, I weeded and tidied the area where the nine camellia bushes in my garden grow.

And now we're off on a walk, making more FFF memories! Join us at Susanne's blog!

What a great FFF. My heart goes out to both you and Ellen with her move. Hopefully you will be able to see each other some times during the year, every year, to at least have a huge walk. You both should make it an annual event perhaps. :)

Where is your camera?
I feel for you...missing your walking partner...I can't imagine not living with mine..
Have a great week.

Sorry to hear your walking partner will not be able to walk with you as often. May there be frequent reunions!

Glad you got to spend time with your children.

Ooh, warm weather AND Earl Grey tea. Sounds great. Have you ever tried Cream Earl Grey tea? My son-in-law loves that and I found it delightful.

Glad you are having a good time with family. I love tea also. My husband drinks Earl Grey every morning. I generally don't drink flavored tea, but Earl Grey is one of the good ones that I will drink. Enjoy your trip!

Small celebrations are big in life! Many times a week I am reminded of that sentiment!
Nice week...with more to come over the weekend!

You and Ellen sound like friends in a charming novel - the walks, teas, I just love reading those on your week's faves.

You're going to miss Ellen, but it sounds like you have a lot of wonderful people in your life to keep you busy.

Enjoy your wonderful weather! (or did I hear you were getting rain this weekend?)

Aw. I'm sorry to hear that Ellen (your daughter?) is moving. I cried when I drove out of town to move away from my parents - and I was only going to LA -LOL

If you are in San Diego - try and pop into Extraordinary Desserts. I love their cakes!!!!

Beautiful snow and cake and even more beautiful boy.
Beautiful flowers for February certainly.
My Jane will be in San Diego with her family probably in May.

Answering your question. I think blogger may be becoming just too busy at times which causes those problems.

Enjoy those last walks with Ellen. I know you are both going to really miss the walks and each other's company when she moves.

That's the very best reason for being late, Willow! Good times!

I hope you and Ellen can manage at least a few walks together once in while after she moves. While I don't have a regular walking buddy (except Charlie), I do have a couple of precious friends that I'd sorely miss if one of up and moved.

You had a better reason that I to be late this week! Glad you're enjoying time with your family ... savor those times with Ellen too.
Hugs and blessings,

I'm going to miss your times together with Ellen :) They were great posts!

We're getting some warmer weather here - (comparatively speaking) so garden thoughts are beginning to grow :)
