We live only seven miles from Mt Angel.

I used to work in the Abbey Library. Did you get up there? What a place that is. I do miss working there and being surrounded by so many thousands of fabulous books. Well, actually the food isn't doing it for me right now because it is hubby's birthday, and I've consumed way too much cake and other celebratory foods today.

I haven't been to Oregon for at least ten years, even though my parents are so near the border comparatively. One day we'll go visit some of your haunts. They look so peaceful.

Oh..I almost forgot. I used Debbie Bliss wool/cotton for the bunny. I bought a bunch of it a while ago, thinking I would knit a blanket with it. It's proved to be better for bunnies. I've gone way down on the needle size. I think I used size 3 for this latest one. It is fun to experiment with them isn't it?Carolinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02782876823581408975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17794657.post-62512569481567948912008-10-05T16:09:00.000-07:002008-10-05T16:09:00.000-07:00This looks like a lot of fun. By the 1990s it turned into a huge weekend event that overwhelm the little village! My in-laws used to dance professionally (german dance) at Octoberfests throughout So. Calif. My kids grew up thinking Grandpas wore leder hosen!Your town looks quite authentic...so nice instead of just a festival in any old town to give a reason for selling crafts and swilling beer.Thoughts on Life and Millinery.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15826496514403918108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17794657.post-18963557152001006242008-10-04T16:48:00.000-07:002008-10-04T16:48:00.000-07:00Very cool.
