Project Black: Take Nine

Project Black: Take Nine
Five Palms Sunset

It's not the 'big W' (name that movie!) , but if you live in SoCal, you gotta take at least one photo of palm trees in silhouette. I took this one 14 July 2008 on a walk along an arroyo near my home.

If you want to see all nine of my Project Black photos, click on the Project Black label at the bottom of this post.

Anna Carson Photography has a list of all the Project Black participants.

  6. Okay ~ you've convinced me. I am going to England! You do a nice job through your photos of showing feelings. Your pics pull me in. Every pic certainly has a story to tell.

  7. oh we've played the game many times with the kids when they were little, who can see the first palm tree. The first ones we see are few and far between when driving up to Disney land but then they get a bit more plentiful. I would never be able to resist a snap of that too.

I don't live in S. Cal., but palm tree silhouettes are synonymous with our sunsets ...

    Yours is lovely.
