I think they are beautiful even if they were a place of imprisonment. It's a beautiful photo too. I love the clarity of the bars and the softness of the outside. Just beautiful.
Hi, Willow! So great to be back from London and catch up with your trip to London...Your photos are all amazing! I've so been enjoying seeing London from your prespective. Your ode to St. Paul's Cathedral was especially wonderful. This black challenge photo is terrific! Happy weekend, still basking in your London memories I'm sure... ((HUGS))
Loving your posts about London, its good to see it all through the eyes of other visitors. But how did you manage to leave Liberty without any wool or fabric!!!!!! I always find it impossible. Jane x
How interesting. Great pic for the challenge.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting.
Did you go around looking for Black photo opportunities? They are nice!!

Great composition, and perfect for Project Black. How sad for them to see such a beautiful view without ever being able to reach it.
ReplyDeleteHm... I bet they don't see MUCH life at all! Great perspective!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! Black is really challenging and produces beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteNot that I would want to be held captive there, but at least they had some lovely trees to look at...or did that make it worse?
ReplyDeleteCool photo. I'm glad I'm not a prisoner and I can walk around and enjoy the scenery :0)
ReplyDeleteLeaded glass with London on the other side? Can't beat that!
ReplyDeleteTerrific shot! Beats our barred view! That is funny that you have the shot from the inside ;-)
