I love stone and this is beautiful! I so want to know what is behind that door. This is the first that has evoked mystery today. Love the angle you took.
I had never really realised just how interesting doors were until I did a 'door' post sometime ago and was amazed at the differences in even a short space.
I read The Secret garden at a very impressionable age. :-) THAT doorway was something else, as was the wardrobe door leading to Narnia. I can understand the Romans worshipping Janus. Each doorway is a beginning and an end and on the threahold we look both ways.
