I have knitted a bunny, my first.
This is Flopsy Bunny, named for one of Peter Rabbit's good little bunny sisters.
Yarn: Simply Soft by Caron, 100% acrylic, so it is 100% washable, stuffed with polyester fiberfill.
Pattern: Lovable Toys in Last-Minute Knitted Gifts by Joelle Hoverson.
The jumper is my own design.

ReplyDeleteYou rock, Grandma! And is a little boy rabbit on the way as well? I have a friend whose 13 year old still wants to see her bunny, Roger, when she gets out of school. He rides with her dad to pick her up.

I love your yarn stash. Just having all those beautiful colors is enough in a way. I do have a knitter friend and I can't resist buying bargain yarn for her when I see it. It's always about the color!

ReplyDeleteThe jumper is my favorite part!!!!! You should make up your own bunny pattern and sell it. I bet you could! This is adorable... and I'm wondering who's Easter present it is??? I love the Peter Rabbit stories... that was the theme of my children's nursery. I have really old books with wonderful illustrations of Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail :)
