The Five Best Things...

About being on Easter Break.

1. no compositions to grade.

2. no early Thursday morning commute. Even if it is to Ventura. Even if it is shared with a delightful companion.

3. leisurely lingering over coffee and comics in the morning.

4. more time to read and walk and knit.

5. open schedule so my daughter and two little kiddos can come for a three day visit.

Back Soon.

Linking to Living to Tell the Story for Friday Fave Fives.

PS:  Thanks for all the comments and emails about photo storage.  I hope to have time to investigate further next week.  Amazingly, weirdly, I have been able to post a couple of photos...

PSS:  Here is a sneak preview of the green and blue birthday sweater.

#3 and #4 are my favorites! I love to linger over coffee, and I love the quiet.

Our Easter break begins next week. No cooking class, no photography class and a day off on Easter Monday. Looking forward to linger over coffee here as well! You enjoy yours, and your time with your daughter and the kids!

Your break sounds delightful! Hope you are refreshed and relaxed by the end of it.

Coffee and comics - they sound as if they should be together.

Though I am not a teacher, I love spring break as well, primarily because of no alarm clocks, early morning rushing around, and a more leisurely schedule. Glad you had a great week! That sweater is gorgeous!

p.s. hope you're taking full advantage of the quiet now, because come Tuesday there won't be any! ;o) I <3 my rambunctious kiddos but they are... energetic...

Other than Good Friday I only get the Monday as a break at Easter but I'll take it. Enjoy your leisurely days!

WOW...LOVE the blue-green sweater, Willow... gorgeous color & pattern--it suits you. :o) Ah... "leisurely lingering over coffee and comics in the morning"--a mini luxury of sorts, isn't it? ;o) Wishing you & yours a wonderful Easter week. TJ has off this week, and we're both taking the week to enjoy, so I'll be online less. Catch up with you soon! Happy Days ((HUGS))

we've all been waiting for that sweater to circulate. Looks lovely. I need to sneak down and see how you are organizing your photos. That's an endless project.
