Friday Fave Five

This week's Friday Fave Five is being brought to you, as usual, by Susanne at Living To Tell The Story.
We had a great, if somewhat, busy week that included playing, traveling, and celebrating.

1. More days and nights spent with The New Boy and His Mama.

Silly Smiles

2. There are deer where The New Boy lives.

He is old enough now to notice.

3. We saw these creatures everywhere-- well, on roadsides near the woods and creeks. We finally asked someone what they were. Groundhogs.

4. After a day spent in airports and airplanes, we are back home at Willow's Cottage!

5. Just in time to celebrate eighth grade graduation with some special people at the school in South Los Angeles where we used to teach.

New Boy has grown! Love the smiley shot. Now that's a prettier deer than those mule deer we have around here :0)

Willow,

Love the New Boy and also the deer. I'm glad he is noticing. I remember when Brandon and Jordan were younger we saw deer crossing the road and they loved it.

Glad you are back in time for grade eight graduation. Brandon is graduating next week too, but not sure they are going to accomodate grandparents. :-(

Hope you have a great weekend, my friend.

Blessings,
Mary

Hasn't New Boy grown! Definate toddler legs rather than baby legs now. Ahhh. :-) How wonderful for him that he can experience some of those special contacts with nature moments.

Welcome home Willow.

Is the ground hog also called a woodchuck?

Very nice photos.

Hi, Willow. I'm pleased to "meet" you. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to Ohio--we sure love living here. I've been to San Diego once. I loved it there! One of my favorite places was a ranunculus farm somewhere between SD and LA. Gorgeous!
Your grandson is adorable! How nice that you are able to fly in for a visit.
Your photos are wonderful. In fact, I think that's the best photo I've seen of a groundhog. They're cute aren't they? But they can do a lot of damage to a garden.
