Slip N Slide

In my neighborhood, autumn has not stormed in like a gale. It has not marched in like a lion. Fall isn't even sauntering in to my community. Actually, autumn is barely slipping and sliding in, even though it is Halloween week.

Even though sycamore trees are dropping their leaves, there are very few other signs of autumn. I'll take little glimspes of fall color where I can find them.

Beautiful pics Willow. Maybe you could make your own indoor homage to Autumn instead with wooden toadstools and colours of yarn? I decorate our house according to the season. It makes me feel more in tune with the outside world when I can't spend much time in it.

Fun angles on these photos, Willow... and the tinge of gold/orange is delightful! Fall is going fast here... the leaves are really falling! Happy Day, my friend :o) ((HUGS))

At least it brings out the detective in us as we have to be very alert around here to spot that color coming in :0)
Lovely shots...

It seemed to take autumn a long time to decide to come to my area this year. It finally arrived, but now looks like it may not want us to enjoy it, and it's sweeping the leaves right off the trees.

Hard to believe it is Halloween tomorrow! The whole year is in a rush!

Welcome to fall in SoCal, eh? Up until yesterday, I would have said we're in the same boat. But yesterday was cold and blustery, and it was 45 degrees when I left the house this morning -- that feels more like fall!
