Oh Willow, that second one - you caught the light just perfectly! It looks portentous and mystical. I half expect Legolas to surf in on the next crest.

I love those storm-tossed waves! And I know being there in person would be quite thrilling...

That surf is so majestic, Willow!

Both your pictures are beautiful Willow but I love the way the sun picks up on the rocks in the first picture, spectacular waves. Jane x

Willow thank you for your kind offer of the snake jumper pattern, I did ask Em and she loved the look of the jumper but when I suggested the idea of knitting one to wear she looked horrified :-) Not quite what the teenagers wear today! Her reaction did make me smile though. Jane x

Nice picture, Kak Willow. Does anyone swim in this weather I wonder..is it still cold? One day I should try that..not surfing, but being in the cold..but not in the water :)

Wonderful photos ... I've been watching the big surf too and noticed LOTS of birds in the air as well.
Hugs and blessings,

Wild weather from coast to coast. Sounds as if you now will be able to dry out, at least for a bit. Dramatic pictures capture the intensity and power of the ocean.
