Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors #20

Is this a ceiling?  Are they skylights? Windows?
Whatever they are, they let in light, and they are awesome!
Very high up above the heads of the students using the computers in the California State University, Channel Islands library, the colorful flags of many countries hang from wires, backlighted by the skylights/windows/ceiling.

That giant skylight illuminated the many flags from above. It is so bright, we could perhaps lose ourselves not in the books below - but at the flags instead. Nice!

Oh, beautiful! I'm not sure I'd be able to concentrate on studying if that was above me :)

That's interesting! I wonder if they flutter when the air conditioning is on! Maybe they don't need air there, though...they have the sea breeze. Thanks for stopping by at my windows.

WONDERFUL! How gently, calmly, harmoniously those flags dwell together in that glass sky... If only in the real world too! Happy Days, Willow ((HUGS))
