Day 9

A Month of Thankfulness.  November 9.  Day 9.

I am thankful for a warm, safe and secure home.  Tonight, as I write this, it is snowing.  A warm place to live is a true blessing.  (full disclosure:  this photo is not from today [it is 2022], but it may look like this tomorrow...)

I love snow scenes. I grew up in Wisconsin and made so many snow men and snow forts. Your house in the snow photo is pretty and cozy looking.

It snows already ??? We still have "global" warming and it is rather warm for November ! Today we had 60F !! I agree with you it's nice to have a warm and cozy place, that's why I like it so much here, I feel home and not alone.

Amen to that! and oh wow! my friend lives in COlumbus and she woke up to a couple inches of the white stuff. Here in NYS (Eastern) we just have rain rain rain which I'm ok with since we have been in a drought. Overnight, western NY is supposed to get snow. Not here...just a "wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain" which is usually worse in my opinion.

The snow is so beautiful! I saw some other friends of mine in Ohio already got snow last night. They live closer to Dayton. We will be at freezing temperatures here in Florida tomorrow morning, but no snow in the forecast for us! LOL. Enjoy your beautiful snow for the rest of us!

Lovely picture of your house, the snow is pretty. But not always fun to live with. Our son has already had snow in Vermont, I'll need to remember my hat and gloves and layers when we visit at Thanksgiving.

Hi Linda, we got snow ❄️ here in Montreal, I do love the snow...but not the ice.
Happy Veterans Day 💙 for tomorrow...we celebrate Remembrance Day on the same day, November 11th.

Base layers, hats, gloves and warm boots are a must, especially in Vermont.
