I am away from home again, but I'm pausing to carve out some time to share my Friday Fave Fives for this past week. It was a busy week.
1. Saturday was fun. Nurse Daughter and I spent all morning plant shopping. Then in the afternoon, I worked in the garden a bit. After that, The Professor and I met both daughters at the local arboretum and walked the dogs.
4. As usual, we enjoyed our time with T and S at a local coffee shop. I am so thankful for our friendship with them.
5. Why am I gone from home? I am attending a wellness conference called Seeking Whole Health. I thought I'd be sitting along all day. BUT. It turns out that a good friend is attending with her sister-in-law. So we've been enjoying our fellowship together and learning lots. After dismissal today, we even got in a mile and a half walk in a local park.
What did you find in your week that made you stop and be thankful?

It sounds like a wonderful week full of special blessings. I would love a workshop like that!
YAY for gardening, coffee dates, getting errands done, and walks...i had plenty of that this week, too and I saw a baby turtle on the bike path when I was power walking yesterday!
I hope you have a beautiful weekend.
It's so nice to spend time outdoors this time of year. We haven't planted anything yet--we usually wait til May in case of late frosts. It can make for a long day to try to get all the errands in, but it's nice to get them done. How neat to find a friend to sit with at the conference.
I agree it is so nice to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather it's so invigorating.
What a wonderful week enjoying the outdoors and time with family. That workshop sounds great!
Being outside is wonderful refreshment for our souls. Sounds like a good week.
What a lovely week!
So many great times in the out of doors you were afforded with. Your conference sounds interesting. We are having a warm up today so I'll be outside tackling some weeds! Have a good fresh week!
Wait, wait -- planting? I must've missed when the snow left you and grass started greening up. How fun to plan and dream.
Oh, that daffodil festival looks wonderful! Wish I could grow half what you all can in your climate.
And how wonderful to run into friends at your conference! Sounds you had a productive, fun, relaxing, accomplished week.
So great that you have been able to continue learning in this area of interest! Mary
I don't know where you live, but if I was there I'd bring my fishing pole with me on those walks.
