I love May flowers. The Red peonies are in the bulb state. The Lily of the Valley is in it's glory. Johnny Jump ups are all over the place. Most of all the dandelions are a sea all to themselves!!
Bunny ate ALL my flowers on Diane (my dianthus) but finally new blooms are opening up and this time I sprinkled chili powder around the plant as well as sprayed with that nasty smelling but very effective mix of fox urine and egg smell. Found it at Lowe's and it's supposed to keep bunnies, deer, etc away. We shall see! I also have my Violas doing well. my morning glories are getting bigger although it will be quite some time before I see blooms if any. My gerbera daisies are doing very well in the front flower bed AND my peonies are up but not open yet......tulips are hanging on!
So many beauties! That yellow one looked like a buttercup to me. But that name gets passed around quite a bit. Google says it's likely Ranunculus bulbosus.
