The Amtrak train stops in San Juan Capistrano, California on its way to San Diego. When I was visiting there, several trains made their scheduled stops. Having taken this same train from Camarillo to San Diego, I know the passengers are watching out the same windows that we are staring at. Even the sign encourages everyone to "LOOK" which is of course what one is supposed to do with a window.

That's funny. All that time living so close to that station and I never took a train ride...
Fun!! There is always something like that around every turn! :)
Ha! I was signed in to the wrong email! The New Season is the "right" sign in place and now I've corrected it! :)
Train windows are fun to look out of, or into. Love this post.
I am familiar and fond of that train stop.
For several years my parents and I camped at San Elijo, in Encinitas. One of the best memories is sleeping in a cot on the bluffs, and hearing the ocean while I went to sleep and waking up to the waves. Your pictures look familiar and remind me of that time.
We would ride our bikes, too. So fun! I'm glad you had time to get away. I love the mission San Juan Capistrano. We are lucky we have so many things we can do in California. Never bored!
Oh, train windows are fantastic! It's true, the tinted glass make it hard to see exactly who's there, but you just know that there are peering eyes on both sides :)
I LOVE this image, Willow... such fun, and great composition! :o) Happy Day ((HUGS))
Totally love almost any train trip!
What fun to zip all over the US and Europe that way.
Greetings from too hot New York.
We took the train to Nebraska this summer, and it was fun but toooooo long. I'd much rather go from San Luis Obispo to San Diego and enjoy the view!
I haven't taken a trip on Amtrak in many years!
We actually traveled to Niagara Falls in upstate NY for our honeymoon by Amtrak -- it was a romantic way to travel!
Thanks for you best wishes, Willow! First thing I'm going to buy when I move is a bicycle :)
That's a good one for this meme. Love the sign...LOL. Thanks for stopping by.
Sign makes a good photo.
