Crochet, too

Sometimes it is a good thing to switch from always knitting.  Crocheted granny squares are simple to create and singularly adorable when they're finished.
Best relaxation therapy ever:  Our PAL's new blanket for her crib.

Details:
Granny Squares Crib Blanket
Crochet hook #G
Cotton Classic Yarn, 100% mercerized cotton
70 squares, all different combinations of five colors (red, light green, dark green, blue, yellow),
edged in light cream

So bright and pretty! My only problem with making all these Granny squares, all those tails to weave in. How do you minimize that? I am making my daughter a skirt that has granny squares around the bottom. She is really excited and I have never made a piece of clothing before. :)

The blanket is BEAUTIFUL, Willow--such happy colors! This one will be a super-cuddler! ;o) Fun to catch up with you here. We're just back from an Thanksgiving/pre-Christmas trip to the US to see my family. I'm making a departure from blogland, but I'll still be around... ;o) Wishing you & yours a Happy Christmas and all the very best in 2015! ((HUGS))
