Hello November Faves

November 1st.  I can't wrap my mind around it being the eleventh month of this year.  Every week is speeding along so so fast.  Here it is Friday again.  Time for Friday Fave Fives with Susanne and others where we look back at our week and choose Five Faves of blessings and gratitude.

1.  Another wonderful walk under the autumn leaves.  And on the leaves (I might have jumped and stomped through them just to enjoy the sound of crunchy leaves).

2.  Mostly mild and sunny weather.

3.  Loads of fall clean up work in the garden.  In particular, we finally finished installing a large water barrel for rain water catchment.  It rained last night, so I checked the barrel today.  Several inches of water was diverted into our new barrel!  Success!

4.  Making a trip to the airport is not always my favorite road trip.  But this time it was one of my favorite events of the week.  We drove there to pick up Younger Son (Dr. M) who flew in for an extended stay.  Oh, I am a happy mom.  He is settling in and working his usual way-more-than-forty-hours schedule in the guest room.

5.  I am finally getting my photos from Ireland/England/Wales organized and posting them on the blog.  It has taken me a long time to do this, but I am so enjoying reliving those wonderful weeks through the memories the pictures bring up.  If you want to read them, you can just scroll down and find four post (so far) title Off To Ireland.

Bonus:  here is a photo I finally was able to download from last week.

May this month of November be overflowing with blessings for you all.

Thanks for sharing autumn leaves with those who have a deficit of them! How nice that you had some pleasant weather to soak in all that colorful beauty.

It's nice to see lots of photos here! Autumn is looking very lovely in your corner of the USA. Enjoy your son's visit.

I do confess that on my two walks this week (You'll see why I could only do two workout this week) I did crunch through the leaves that are finally falling in our area.
LOVED the photos I saw of your Ireland trip. I've only seen 2 of your 4 posts but I will attempt to read the others tomorrow at some point. I"ve been busy all day putting our deck and backyard to sleep.....folding up deck chairs, stacking them, putting away cushions after cleaning them, cleaning and drying planters, rolling up the rug, etc etc. I"m tired!

Oh how I hope you enjoy the time with your son! how wonderful to have him home for a visit.

Great pic on the trail, too!!
Happy weekend!!

I think fall is when most of us get out and walk more often! I know here in Florida we can't do many long walks in the summer, so fall is our best time. Love hearing about your journeys, etc. Hope you have a good visit with your son while he is there. Happy November.

Oh, I will definitely check out your travel posts. That's an area of the world that I have not been to. My paternal grandfather's folks came from Wales. And I enjoyed all of your beautiful fall pictures. Have a wonderful weekend.

I enjoyed you fall pictures. We don't have a lot of fall trees here. I would love to take a drive to the local mountains and see the leaves. Have a great weekend!
