I have been a coin collector since I was six years old and my uncle introduced my brother and me to it. We began with pennies and moved up to dimes. Somewhere along the way, in my high school and college years, I lost interest.
But now I'm back into it. And I'm having fun!
Do you have a hobby like coin collecting or stamp collecting?

Keep having fun, I have collections of collections!!!
Hi Willow, I used to collect coins too! My grandpa was an avid collector and had some really niece coins, from the 1700's and 1800's. When he was in his 90's, I would give him my penny jar and he would happily sit there all afternoon with his magnifying class looking at the pennies. :). He found some really unique ones. I haven't been collecting any for a while now. Back several years ago I was enjoying collecting all the state quarters. I was so happy when I finally got the last one. :). I hope you have a lovely day ahead.
Greg has his penny and dime collection in those good old collector folders. Our Pop collected the quarters of all the states and put them in the folders for each of us. He really enjoyed doing that. We recently distributed the silver dollars and other silver coins we had amongst our kids. Have a cozy day!
Phil collects silver dollars, they can be a nice investment. He only has a few though. I do have a plastic bag of unusual coins.
I don't collect coins as such - we just put all our loose change into a jar and every so often I change it up at the supermarket - they have a machine that counts it all for you then I either take the cash or get a voucher to use for shopping.
