These photos are especially for those of you who are snow bound in northern places where the sun refuses to shine. May they cheer you up! All of these hills were burned in The Springs Fire in May 2013. Since we have had some rain this winter, they are now verdantly green.
Just so you know, not every day is sunny. This morning's fog covered the entire Oxnard Plain and shrouded the Santa Monica Mountains.

Oh what beautiful pictures Willow! Thanks for sharing a bit of sunshine!
Beautiful! Seeing beauty after devastation must be amazing!
We have had some foggy mornings here too, I love them.
Hugs,
Meredith
Time for me to check the weather for the next few days while I'll be down there. Love the green on the hills!!
oh i love these photos!! here in Eastern NY we have hardly any snow left....and the stuff we did have after xmas only amounted to 2 inches!! the rain last weekend washed it all away....BUT..we HAVE had some glorious sun every day this week although VERY COLD temps. one morning last week it was -9!!!!!
Oh, it's so nice to see those greening hills. Each morning on my way to work, I wish I could pause and take a photo. So I'm thrilled that somebody did!
