What To Do After A Busy Day

What do you do to relax after a busy day? Read a novel? Take a stroll? Surf the internet? This evening, after my busy day, I pulled out a little bit of knitting and opened my photo files from England and let my mind wander over the wonderful memories.

Lavender in Kelsey Park

How do you relax in the evening?

DH and I watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, calling out the answers, and praising one another when we are right.

I like to do anything I don't "have" to do. Does that make sense. Love your photos...

I think I'm like Ellen - sometimes I cook, sometimes I read my favorite books. I also like catching with blogging friends :-)

I like to take a bath, get in my pj's and watch mindless tv while reading through something creative. The tv is so bad...so it's not really enjoyable but once in awhile there is something worth watching. :) Evening in the summer doesn't start until almost 9pm.

This will be no suprise to you but I sew or knit something which will be ok in just lamp light.

I love lavender and roses too. Their smells are so relaxing.

Mostly I relax by knitting, but someimes I do a bit of cross stitching. I find it very difficult to stay still and the knitting is great for making me do just that, but even so I can still get up and down several times in an hour. The hoody pattern was from the knitting institute website (uk) free.

My very favorite way to relax, when the stars are aligned right, is to sit down on the living room floor with Rick and the girls, and to knit while we play board games. Then I go to bed and read a novel. Mmm...
