An England Adventure, Part 6

Sheep are ubiquitous in the English countryside.
We enjoyed meeting these woolly things everywhere.
Here they are frolicking at Maiden Castle.

Shepherds moving the sheep

Here they come!

Whew!  We escaped those scary humans again!

Eleanor Elizabeth was excited to meet her British friends, but they were having none of it.

I absolutely adore sheep, and that path cutting through the green is spectacular. The last photo is super cute. Thanks for sharing. xo

How interesting to see them all moving together like that.

Oh I MUST show these sheep pics to my youngest gal...she loves sheep!! We see them in the gently rolling hills of the central part of NYS when we drive out to see one of my sister's and my dad.

You asked on my FFF if we are getting snow. YES!!! This will be the most snow we've received all winter. We are under a blizzard warning.....woke up to 3 inches on ground by 9 a.m. and the NYS gov has even shut down the post offices, state workers and all schools have the day off (well, from central NY, the Adirondacks and eastern NY...I'm not sure about western NY...i think even they are shut down). It's crazy. Gov Cuomo said NO one except essential workers should be on the roads today. We are safe and warm at home and i'm enjoying my books, coffee, blogging, getting caught up on little house projects, etc.

Girls are sleeping in and dave is working from home via conference calls.

Pray that we get this shoveled up!!

Green! Wow - you're getting me really excited for my conference in Ireland in June. Definitely must plan to spend some time hiking about in the countryside...

Same as Susanne -- those deeply green green hills are such a beautiful sight. The sheep look like they would very much like it everyone minded their own business!

All that lovely wool on the hoof right in front of your eyes! Did it send you dreaming of spinning wheels and knitting patterns?

Woolies... it is wonderful to see sheep while out & about in the UK! The sight of so many sheep does set the mind to daydreaming about wooly knit and crochet projects. ;) And there is nothing like the UK green fields... *sigh* ... ((HUGS))
