Oh so sweet! I'm so happy to see these great photos of New Boy's first birthday. And yes it does deserve the whole five favorites!!
What a cute little guy that New Boy is! I love the picture of him with frosting on his fingers and face.
Gorgeous and you just cannot beat blue icing when you are one year old.
Well, Happy Birthday, Little Dude! (great cake, BTW, Willow...too cute!)
Hope you and yours have a wonderful weekend ahead!
i love first birthday parties..your cake looks awesome.
We bought building blocks for our first son's first birthday ... 26 years ago. They last through all three of our kids, daycare kids, and then got passed on to others. It is the most economical, practical, happiness-producing toy I think a parent can buy.
Happy Birthday to that adorable New Boy. He's a good looking fella.
How sweet! I can't believe my own little gr. baby will be 3 in June, but I do recall her 1st b.d. and I have tons of cake photos, too!
What a great cake and wonderful gifts--especially his phone! He's a tad too young to be making those long-distance calls!
Happy FFF! Dana
Awww, what a cutie! And great pics!
Happy Birthday to your big boy! I hope he is content with his own cell phone. :-) That cake is adorable, as is the birthday boy.

Willow, I've answered some of your questions regarding my book on my blog, if you're interested. hope it's helpful.
Well, an exceptionally nice group of fives for New Boy! I like his phone very well with its big buttons -- I will have to check T-mobile next time I need a phone!
What a sweet birthday boy!! Glad you all had fun :)

You can email me, if you want, at jahlersATcsusmDOTedu (also, there's a setting where you can tell Blogger to email you all of your comments; I'll try to figure out where it is, but I think it's in the controls).

Awwww! First birthdays are so wonderful. I remember thinking that both of my kids seemed sooooo old on their first birthdays.
A wonderful celebration! And may he always be surrounded by loving family and friends.
How precious! The first birthday is always so special when you let the baby dig into the cake. Looks like that's what happened! And blocks... what a great gift.

"Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" is a favorite on our book shelves, also a beloved performance at the Kennedy Center in DC.
