I had totally forgotten that movie! Thanks for shaking the cobwebs out of my gray matter. I agree with Caroline's comment - it is disappointing when we share something funny with our kids and they don't get it! Been there, done that.
Ooh! Thanks for the question ideas; I'd love to get your daughters' input, too (Betchen would, indeed, be proud!). And congratulations to your son -- that's a great anth dept, and wonderful news! :)
Ohh, haven't seen the movie but...thought your blog comment about the little pigs was funny! I too wondered why the other pigs could be so easily rescued to the brick house. Didn't they mess up by having those straw building materials!? However, I figured it out like this. If they were really siblings, would you want your brother or sister to be eaten by a wolf? Well, no. So, you can come on over to my brick (facing) house anytime!

Snicker. That was such a funny movie -- I haven't seen it in ages! May have to rent it...
My husband has it on VHS, loves it, and was so disappointed when the kids gave it only modest reviews when he finally got them to watch it with him.
That cute!
I'm still trying to get my head around R. It looks grim to me....
But I think I will surprise my self.

P.S. I just wanted to let you know that I've tagged you for an award :)
