We Are Wild Travelers

One would think that we had already done enough traveling for a summer.  Evidently not.  Here we are on the East Coast of the US.  Three of our grandchildren live out here, so obviously, it's a travel destination.

The flora and fauna are different here (and yet strangely familiar).

Fortunately, the grandchildren love to be outdoors, hiking, playing in the water.

I had forgotten that having a coast to coast family is something else we have in common, Willow :) I'm glad you got to see your Eastern family and enjoy the pretty common ground you share. It is funny, I think of myself as more of an armchair traveler, but my youngest daughter and her husband just invited me to camp at Cape Lookout Beach in OR the last week in July, then the first week in August other family members and I plan to drive down to Burbank to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of my older sister and her husband, and my last two posts have focused on trips I have taken recently! Blessings!

Looks like a fun time together. It's nice that these 3 live close enough to each other to be able to visit...

Oh my goodness!! I wonder where on the East Coast you are? if you are near NY, please do let me know! I would love to meet you!! We JUST returned from a week long vacation on Cape Cod (Chatham to be exact, which is in the "elbow" of the Cape) and I am catching up on blogs tonight while the washer and dryer do their thing. :) I love your photos....and yay for spending time with your grandchildren. I hope you are having a wonderful time.

Beautiful photos and beautiful country! Most of my family are in Tennessee which is where I would be if I could. I'm so glad you had a good time and had that time with grand children.
