Project Black: Take One

We interrupt this rather lengthy travel documentary of Southern England (are you bored yet?) to bring you--- PROJECT BLACK.

Detail of a key hole at Hampton Palace, England, of course.

Nice one. I like the closeup and all the detail.

Wonderful and mellow, yet secretive! Just like black itself.

This must be a very old keyhole, but a nice shot anyway...so you're back on track with the "Project" ..cool :D

Did you do the maze? Is the whole building open now? When we went several years ago one of the wings was being refurbished.
Are you planning on a trip to Hever castle, Anne Boleyn's family home, it's quite sweet.

I love black metalwork with wood! We even have some on the living room furniture.

Lovely shot- it's so easy to lose detail with black.

Oh, I like it! Black is a really interesting subject, isn't it!

That would have also made a good "looking through" photo! Love it!

This is great -- I have a soft spot for macro shots, and anything European! I enjoyed glancing through some of your Southern England shots as well -- I lived in London for a while (which is where I met Anna), so they bring back memories.

Excellent! Gosh, I say it often, but the simple things made spectacular are among my favorite photographed images. VERY well done, and in fact, I think this would make a COOL poster!

This is a great picture Willow and thoughtfully taken. Hmmm! it could tell a few tales too if only it could speak. Yes, fancy carrying that key around in your purse. Marion

This is a precious artwork apart from being practical!
