Immigration

After William and Anna moved to Canada awhile ago, their cousins Charles and Charlotte missed them so very much. You see, William and Anna have always been the adventurous ones, taking after their oldest sister, Eleanor Elizabeth, and Charles and Charlotte tend to be a bit more timid.

However, when the opportunity came for Charles and Charlotte to move to Canada, they decided after a long discussion that, yes, they wanted to have as exciting a life as Anna and William. The notes, emails and letters they'd received from William convinced them! Life on a farm! Lots and lots of yummy soft green grass! Fun little human playmates! Maple trees on flags!

So, off went Charlotte and Charles. In fact, they were so very excited that they jumped in to the shipping box before I had time to adequately pack it with blankets, food, water and other little bunny goodies like carrot cake and spinach pie.

I just received a telegram from them, letting me know they are safely arrived and, while they are having a bit of an adjustment to their new house (what? no palm trees?) they seem to be settling in just fine. I imagine that fresh lettuce sandwiches and watercress tea will settle their little tummies, and their good spirits and bouncy personalities will return, ahem, rap-bit-dly.

Hmmm. Do your bunnies multiply? Would one of them like to come live in Southern California? I promise the cats will treat them like royalty!

So, Willow, is there an adoption process? An application? A queue?

Willow,

I read both posts and these little bunnies will love living in Canada. When all is said and done, most Canadians are friendly people and they will enjoy their live here. They are adorable. You are a talented lady.

Hope all is well with you and your family.

Blessings,
Mary

Hope Charlotte and Charles did not feel too claustraphobic in their box.

And guess what, they are baking up a storm...They have been text messaging William and Anna and they are planning on surprising everyone on Sunday night, in lieu of a big party that I cannot attend, so they said they would go in my honor. Hurrah!
So they will get to visit for a few hours.

The yarn for the throw was just some unamed acrylic wool that we were supplied with.
