One recent day, I went to the mailbox to get the mail and I had some! A package, in fact!
When I saw the postmark on the package, I knew who it was from.
Jane from Crafty Conundrum in England.
I had won a give away on her blog and this package was from her. I asked her later if she was a lucky guesser or did she pick goodies just for me. She certainly knows me!
Kitties. Blue and white fabric. Knitting accessories.
I love it all, but I am particularly enchanted with the variegated blue sock yarn. I have already cast on for a pair of socks. Umm, actually, I've turned the heel and am on the last stretch of circular knitting heading for the toes.
BUT! That's not all. No, that's not all.
There was a giftie for the boy.
Look at that little face, at those big eyes. Do you see what he's saying?
"Mine!"
Thank you so much, Jane! You made my day! You made my WEEK!

I LOVE that last picture, so sweet, but it definitely says MINE!!!
Love New Boy's grip on his goodies! Such a sweet little smile..
Looks like a fun package for you!
What a lovely photo of the boy and i am so happy he likes his ducklings, and that the goodies were just right. Hugs Jane x
What a fun "prize" to having waiting for you in the mail. I agree with everyone else. "New Boy" looks darling, but decidedly possessive. My daughter used to carry around as many Playmobil figures as she could with that same loving look.
Oops! That was me in the previous post.
A big congrats Kak Willow, I love snail mail and even more when it comes in a package. Have a great Sunday...
..oh, and the new boy, he's so cute..makes me want to kiss him :D
I'm happy for you, Willow. I love the photos, the baby is so cute. I do crochet. I tried knitting but I don't understand how it is done. My mom-in-law bought me a book, but still I don't understand. How I wish somebody can teach me how to knit.
What a totally awesome package!!! That sock yarn looks like some Opal sock yarn in my stash.... I'll be curious what pattern you pick.
The egg and chicks are too cute - and a perfect gift for the little one :)
Willow, the last photo the way you have captured the eyes is wonderful they say it all.
Thank you for comments on my blog, they keep me going.

What wonderful gifts! And what wonderful photos. That last one is worth a thousand words.
What an absolute treat!!!!! I LOVE getting packages like that in the mail. Makes all the junkmail worth it somehow.

Wonderful treats - from the Royal Mail! I love that. And that last photo is a real treasure.
Hi, Willow! What wonderful gifts from Jane! And New Boys's expression is priceless...oh, how sweet! He looks very happy with his new present. ;o) Happy Days to you all ((HUGS))
Oh dear goodness, a first when I saw the chick and the egg freshly hatched I thought that is the cutest thing, but then I saw the new boy holding and thought, no. .that is the cutest thing.
What a great package! And I love that there was a little something for everyone :)
Hi ~ What a pleasant surprise! I love snail mail - especially when it is a package of goodies. Can't wait to see the socks! Now that life is calming down I am going to start my knitting lessons! Socks, sweaters, hats, scarves...so much to knit, so little time! :)
What a lovely parcel of goodies. I've just finished a pair of socks for me. They are in varigated yarn too. :-)
I love New Boy's eyes- he really likes the ducks.
Congratulations on the win, Willow.
How nice of Jane to send a package all the way from England. The little duckling is sweet and the little one certainly took possession right away. What a cute photo!
Your new boy is getting big too! What a darling face he has, and what a cute chick set your blog friend knitted for him!
