I've Got Mail!

One recent day, I went to the mailbox to get the mail and I had some! A package, in fact!
When I saw the postmark on the package, I knew who it was from.
Jane from Crafty Conundrum in England.

I had won a give away on her blog and this package was from her. I asked her later if she was a lucky guesser or did she pick goodies just for me. She certainly knows me!
Kitties. Blue and white fabric. Knitting accessories.

More kitties! And blue yarn!

I love it all, but I am particularly enchanted with the variegated blue sock yarn. I have already cast on for a pair of socks. Umm, actually, I've turned the heel and am on the last stretch of circular knitting heading for the toes.

BUT! That's not all. No, that's not all.
There was a giftie for the boy.

Look at that little face, at those big eyes. Do you see what he's saying?

"Mine!"

Thank you so much, Jane! You made my day! You made my WEEK!

What a fun "prize" to having waiting for you in the mail. I agree with everyone else. "New Boy" looks darling, but decidedly possessive. My daughter used to carry around as many Playmobil figures as she could with that same loving look.

Oops! That was me in the previous post.

How fun! I don't know much about knitting, so what is the wooden thing pictured?

I'm happy for you, Willow. I love the photos, the baby is so cute. I do crochet. I tried knitting but I don't understand how it is done. My mom-in-law bought me a book, but still I don't understand. How I wish somebody can teach me how to knit.

What a totally awesome package!!! That sock yarn looks like some Opal sock yarn in my stash.... I'll be curious what pattern you pick.

The egg and chicks are too cute - and a perfect gift for the little one :)

Hi ~ What a pleasant surprise! I love snail mail - especially when it is a package of goodies. Can't wait to see the socks! Now that life is calming down I am going to start my knitting lessons! Socks, sweaters, hats, scarves...so much to knit, so little time! :)
