December Thankfulness #2

Friday Fave Fives! (Follow the link HERE to join in.)  I'm late posting, but here I am.  My whole week has been behind.  I blame it on #1.

1.  This week I had a "procedure".  I am very thankful to say that results are 'all clear' according to the doctor.  That is truly a Fave!

2.  My daughter and I have been trying to track down a couple of Christmas gifts for The Professor.  Finally, after hours of scouring the internet, we scored them and hopefully, they'll arrive before Christmas Day.

3.  Skype and Zoom!  I think I am thankful every week for these options to 'hang out' with my art group friends.  Even though I am in a time zone three hours later, we can still get online and chat.  Right now, we are doing an Advent study with the book Hidden Christmas by Timothy Keller.

4.  The weather really warmed up the end of this week.  You know what that means!  A wonderful long walk on the trail!  Our goal is to walk all of the county bike trails and we are doing it two to three miles at a time.

5.  The Christmas cards and letters are arriving!  Yay!  I love receiving them!  And I love sending them.  Ours are in process.  About half of them will be mailed out tomorrow!

Happy Weekend to everyone!  Are you in the Christmas spirit yet?

Glad you are "all clear." Most of my cards are out and now we enjoy having cards come in. Glad you could find the gift you were looking for, and that you will get in time for Christmas. Have a good weekend.

Glad to hear your procedure went well. I'm hoping to have my cards finished this weekend and in the mail on Monday. I do love sending them and receiving them! Enjoy your nice weather. Ours has turned cold for the next week, so going for walks will require bundling up.

Good to hear that your procedure went well. I got my cards out early this year and they are all done. I love getting cards in the mail!

I've been in thenChristmas spirit since Dec 1!! Love this mild autumn we are having as well.

Glad your procedure all turned out ok. Must have been the week for that!! ( i mentioned something similar).

That's a great walking goal. My goals for the year for hiking had to be way laid formthe most partmdue to my back issues and covid but instead i am now focus No on all the different nature preserves in the eastern NY area. We have a LOT!!! I've been finding a new one every month. It's fun.

I love studying the word of God with friends, I'm no where near ready for a Lent one though..I'm doing a good Advent one with the my cousin online. It's called Ten Christmas Truths and is quite good.

I hope you have a good weekend!

So glad you had good news on the procedure! I totally missed the card boat this year. Which is sad because I have always done them. But just too much other stuff going on that has taken up that space in my brain. How fun that you are doing an advent study and keeping in touch with your friends. My heart is happy for you having all this precious family time available to you.
