Random February Photos

It is late winter.  February's weather is all over the place.  There's snow.  It comes and goes.

But we can still get out and walk the paved trails.

Then the snow starts melting.

Sometimes there is even blue sky!

The birds know spring is on its way.

And the early spring flowers are popping up.

Our first crocus!

These daffodils were trapped under a bag of mulch all winter.  They are so tenacious!  I moved the bag and found them already searching for the spring sunshine.

And of course, there are always barns.

...our February weather has been strange to say the least. Yesterday we reached 73F. That sweet gum certainly set fruit. We have crocus blooming on our window sill and daffs are poking up in the garden. Yes, and of course there are always barns.

Beautiful photos of lovely Ohio February winter. I hope you are not in the line of the bad storms happening now up through the midwest. Oh, I love the barns. There are so many beautiful barns in Ohio. Not so many in Florida...they just don't do barns here like up north. Take care and be safe in the spring crazy weather.

What a varied February you've had! Daffs are pretty hit/miss here for me, but I bet they love all the cold y'all get!

Terrific pics of your feathered friends.

Hi willow! Looks like you live in the country. I love your barn photo the best. And the woodpecker one.

I can relate to these photos and weather. So nice to see new growth pop up especially with a splash of color. We are having lots of rain today. Love the star on that barn!
