More August flora. Just one photo. But it tells so much. Creeks. Rocks. Huge fir trees. This is what my childhood looked like. I assumed everyone had streams to play in and were surrounded by evergreen trees all year long. Cascade Mountains, Western Oregon.

Hi Willow, I grew up in the city and did not grow up with that beauty. I remember trees and sprinklers, skates, swings and swimming pools. We did get to camp at Yosemite and Big Bear. We also camped on the beach at Doheny and watch my uncle's surf. I loved when we went to Oregon, Lake Tahoe and Yosemite in the past few years. Thanks for sharing!

The PNW is such a great place to live. Hopefully politicians won't squeeze the joy out of it! :)
