Again, the first part of July, we were traveling.  When we returned home, life settled in to the usual mid summer activities.

Garden.

Everywhere there are deer.  We spooked this guy when we were walking on our local path next to the creek that parallels it.  Most likely he was grabbing a drink in the creek on his way to nibble on the grass in the field or chew some flowers off someone's rose bush.

But the best of the month after our trip was spending a few days with my sister-cousin who visited for a few days (escaping Florida's heat and humidity).
