If you have been reading Willows Cottage blog for very long, you will know that I am a beach girl. While I love the mountains and the trees, my heart is at the beach.
Looking back on last year, March 2024, I was sifting through photos from our road trip to Outer Banks, North Carolina, which we took with our Coffee Couple, T and S. Now my heart yearns to return and soak in the beauty of the ocean, the sand, the surf.
Do you love the beach?

I do love the beach, when it's not too hot or crowded. We live in Florida, and are surrounded by beaches on our east and west sides, but we live about an hour+ from either coast, right in the middle, and we rarely ever get there. Too much traffic between here and there for one thing. But I wouldn't mind if we could go and spend the night again at the beach sometime, so we can take our time and stroll down the beach and soak it all in. Yes, I do like it, just not enough to make myself get up and go! Maybe we need to change that in the New year! Happy New Year to you! I do hope you will be able to make your beach dreams come true in the new year!

I do, and we visit Lake Superior often, it is my favorite shore line to explore.
Someday I would like to live in a community on the shores of Lake Superior.

I love time spent on the coast of Maine when we go to visit our son and his family! I enjoy hearing the lapping of the waves as they come into shore. There's just something so peaceful about it all.
Hope you get to see the seashore soon. It has been ages since I have!!
