I think they are beautiful even if they were a place of imprisonment. It's a beautiful photo too. I love the clarity of the bars and the softness of the outside. Just beautiful.
Hi, Willow! So great to be back from London and catch up with your trip to London...Your photos are all amazing! I've so been enjoying seeing London from your prespective. Your ode to St. Paul's Cathedral was especially wonderful. This black challenge photo is terrific! Happy weekend, still basking in your London memories I'm sure... ((HUGS))
Loving your posts about London, its good to see it all through the eyes of other visitors. But how did you manage to leave Liberty without any wool or fabric!!!!!! I always find it impossible. Jane x

Great sight for us to enjoy, but a grim scene for prisoners of the day. Marion
Do you know, I was going to use a similar image but from Chepstow castle instead! :)
Great shot for Project Black. Thanks for visiting my blog!
Very nice! How come you could take it? did they lock you up? just kidding hehehe..
happy weekend and hugs always :D
I love your pictures!
The one you did yesterday was great too, I love details on doors , took loads of them when I was on holiday!
Great composition, and perfect for Project Black. How sad for them to see such a beautiful view without ever being able to reach it.
Hm... I bet they don't see MUCH life at all! Great perspective!
That's awesome! Black is really challenging and produces beautiful pictures!
Not that I would want to be held captive there, but at least they had some lovely trees to look at...or did that make it worse?
Cool photo. I'm glad I'm not a prisoner and I can walk around and enjoy the scenery :0)
Leaded glass with London on the other side? Can't beat that!
Terrific shot! Beats our barred view! That is funny that you have the shot from the inside ;-)

Nice! Great shot and love the history that goes along with it.
as Raven said - the clarity and then the softness makes this a very striking photo
Nice photo. I love the lines.
Nice one. I love this type of window...but don't want to clean them LOL.

Forced to stay inside -- bars AND rain. Double whammy.
Cool! Very well spotted!
I'm trying to make a link to Anna Carson!
Does anyone know her www?
Super sad picture ,Willow!
Wow! I love it!
All in all not a bad window to look through as a prisoner.
A great shot.
I really, really love this shot!
