I'm intriegued by your 2nd photo- it looks like an Tudor building has been incorporated into a younger one. A lot of London is post 1666 (great Fire) so having a 1500s remnant is fascinating.
Yes, Melanie, that photo was taken in the St. James Palace/Green Park area. I was fascinated by the old/new juxtaposition of the architecture I saw everywhere and took a lot of photos of the buildings.
Decided I could not go to bed another night without checking your blog and just as well as you already have so many posts. It is very interesting to see London through your eyes and your very interesting perspective on photos. It is also strange to think that you were here and now you are back in LA and showing photos from here. Well, you know my routine, it's 11.30 pm so its off for a bath before reading in bed. Blessings.
I’ve just scrolled down several posts to get to where I left off reading your blog. Goodness Willow, you wasted no time whilst in London, you did got around and you are certainly catching up with blogging on your return.
Did you suffer from jet lag either way on your trip? We were fine going out to US but coming back was quite a different matter. Maybe it was flying forward into our own time.... of five hours ahead of US.
Love your roof top shots. I’m very fond of chimney pots I have a few as garden ornaments. Marion

Very interesting..normally no one takes pictures of rooftops but these are definitely special.

I am enamored with chimney pots! My dear friend Marion from Wales has several in her garden....
Marion and John were our guests for 12 days in May and we had such a wonderful visit....
