Happy Friday! Friday Fave Fives are here again. The link to Susanne's blog will take you to share others' weekly blessings. Here are mine for this second week of October.
1. We have a home! Papers were signed, and now we await the date for possession. I am so very thankful for home!
2. Daughter #2 has been letting us live with her for the past two months. That's true love and filial affection.
3. We found a pizza place that has vegan cheese and vegan sausage! Yay! I can have my vegan pizza!
4. Phone calls from a good friend are always a blessing. My friend moved to Tennessee about the same time I moved to Ohio. We're back in the same time zone, and we are planning to have regular phone call times. We talked this week, and oh it was so good just to hear "Jo's"* voice. *my nickname for her.
5. Have you watched End Game? The last Avengers movie. Why is this a fave? I watched it with and for my grandkids. It's a fave because I did it with them.
Bonus: all the leaves are turning beautiful autumn colors!
And so went Willow's Week. What blessings did you find this week?

Hi Willow. Glad you had a nice week and that things are going forward with your new home. It's so great that you are now living so close to grandkids. Have a good weekend.
Yippee getting closer to having your keys! Have a good weekend.
What wonderful Autumn colours in those leaves.
What an exciting time in your lives! Even Mother Nature's put on her pretty clothes for the party. :)
How exciting about your new home. May you have many blessings and times filled with family and love there! The things we do for our grandkids. LOL. Glad you found your pizza! That is one food I crave on the regular.
Beautiful fall colours!
Congratulations on your new home! That's so great your daughter was able to have you stay with her while looking for a place--and that your friend is in the same time zone. I loved End Game. We had watched most of the Marvel movies leading up to it, so it was neat to see it all come together in the end.
Congratulations to your new home ! Now you will have the same destiny as I had in June ! Once the furniture in the appartment the rest I did everyday a bit, wasn't in a hurry the most important things like a bed and the kitchen came first. I hope you will feel as happy as I am in our new home !
Congratulations on the new home!! So exciting!
I have a good friend who lives two time zones away. It doesn't seem like 2 hours should make such a big difference, but it does get in the way:( However, we make the best of it, and every couple weeks one of us will text the other -- "Do you have time for a cuppa?" -- and that's our cue that it's time for a chat:)
Yay for the new house! And for catching up with friends and all your other good things. Those colours are lovely.
Many congratulations on your new home, Willow! How exciting to start afresh with your new place and new local discoveries.
That's great news! A new home just in time for cozy winter weather in Ohio. I'm very happy for you, and look forward to what you share with us here as your latest adventure in life moves along.
I don't know what part of Ohio you have adopted as your new home, and I've never been there, but there was an old family farm near Urbana for about 150 years before my great grandparents had to sell it during WWII. Both my dad's parents had Ohio connections. Not relevant to anything, but just thought I'd share that. I don't know why!
Congrats on the new house!! Can't wait to see pics!!
I don't watch avenger movies but how special to do so with your grandkids. Making memories for them!! ( is captain America an avenger flick?? If yes then I've seen that with dave in the movie theater when it first came out as he had a gift card..
I enjoyed it sorta)
Love that you're making plans for a phone date!!
Enjoy the autumn foliage and good weather we are having here on the east coast!
Wow! I have completely missed your home sale in California and relocation to Ohio. This just shows me how long absent I've been from blogland. :( Congratulations on your new home. I hope you'll share some photos. I don't know if you are aware of this, but I lived in Columbus, OH with my late husband for 14 years. Ohio is a beautiful state, and I enjoyed my life there very much. I still keep in touch with friends I made there. Hugs, Nancy
