Bits and Pieces of Our Vacation Life

We sat outside on the 'veranda' with our coffee the other morning. The sun was shining, the temperature was low 70s, life was good.

Who is that man? What is different about him?

This was our view--trees in the neighbors' gardens.

The white blooms on a cactus.

Red berries on the palm tree.

And, last but not least,

inside the house, ever vigilant,
the watcher at the drain.
Because you never know what might be lurking down there.

Wow who is that young man? How many years has it been? Was there a tan line?

Hi Willow, Thanks for coming by to visit me. I rushed right over to pay a return visit and I enjoyed myself. I can't knit but I love to read blogs. Now I have added a new one to my list. ~ann

Hey, looks like you picked up a toy boy! Good job, Willow!

While DH and I were in LaLa land, we saw an open house sign in Hermosa beach and a parking space opened right before us. It was a sign. A two-story, 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath 1600 square foot place without even a view of the ocean was one million, 7 thousand dollars. It was gorgeous, no question, but holy crow!

yeah, we decided not to retire there. wouldn't want neighbors who could AFFORD to buy that house. Mike rents a ROOM in HB; you don't want to know how much the rent is.
