I want to mention one more thing about the sweater I knitted for Kiti and mailed off to her yesterday.
The pattern for the green sweater is from Interweave Knits Summer 2006 edition. I had been looking around on the internet for an appropriate pattern for her and this was the only one I found that would be suitable.
The ribbing pattern used throughout makes a very stretchy knit. The buttons on the sides can be undone if the sweater is tight.
The name of the pattern is the Mommy Snug.
Yes! Did you get it?
I'm going to be a GRANDMA!
I am going to get to know that road between Camarillo and Phoenix, Arizona really well. And my grandbaby is going to have a handknitted sweater for every season.

Yayyy! Oh, you will excell at that grandma thing! Hooray!!
Congratulations!!! Being a grandma is so much fun. I'm sure you will run that road between the two houses often. What a beautiful Christmas gift.
Blessings,
Mary
Hi Willow! Now I see why you asked me if I'd read your blog yet this morning. Congratulations! What wonderful news.
Congratulations -- being a grandmother is one of the very, very special things in life. And a knitting grandma -- even better.
hehe! You finally burst. ;o) Just teasing, mums! We're all so excited!! :o)
Kiti told first.
Your knitting is absolutely gorgeous!!! She'll love it. I love it! Wow!
That is such wonderful news. Your grandchild will be a very lucky one to have you as a grandmum. Kiti is lucky too, because she'll have the most adorable knitted baby outfits.
Congratulations! How did the studying go?
Congratulations!!!!
The sweater is beautiful. :)
Poor Mumsy! You will do great on your exam, I'm sure you will! I have one that morning too... maybe we can send good vibes back and fort. :o)
How many more pages do you have to read?
'fort' meaning 'forth', of course. Unless we were sending the good vibes between fortresses or something... I don't know. It's late and I must wake up in less than 7 hours. hugs and kisses!
Congratulations! I'm so glad I didn't spill the beans to everyone when I posted on one of your previous comments!
I love that sweater! Is it hard for a fairly new knitter. I am thinking about knitting it for my daughter's birthday in February. She is expecting in June.
Sweater arrived today and Kiti said, "It is warm! It feels like a hug from my mom."
Gorgeous work! Debbie
How wonderful for you! And a gorgeous lovingly knitted sweater for Kiti (while your grandbaby is being "knitted" in her momma's womb)
Congratulations!! Your life will never be the same again. Grandchildren are so wonderful!!!!
Congratulations. I hope you get the seasons and sizeing to match. Most of the many things that I knitted for Oliver did not coincide with the cold weather. However I was glad to see a photo recently where he had now grown into a lovely cable sweater. Most he grew out of but a couple he had to grow into.
You are going to be knocked out by the love that overtakes you.
As to your question, Muscular Dysrophy is a genetic thing but there does not seem to be anybody that we know of that had it in the family. Possible it could have been way b ack.
Will the grandbaby be able to wear scarves in Phoenix?
