I am thankful that when I came home this evening, my house was safe, untouched by fire. Smoke and ash, yes, but, flames, no. We are not in the fire zones here in Ventura County.
This certainly is something to be grateful for. My heart goes out to those who have lost their homes. Something so terribly sad because we pour so much into making our surroundings a warm haven for those we love. Obviously houses aren't people, but even so, it's pretty devastating.
I certainly am thankful with you. What a devastating year this has been for California. I pray that those winds die down completely and the humidty goes way up. . .it might not feel good, but it is a little like cod liver oil. . .good for you.
I thought about you this evening during the evening news. It's a relief to know you're not in the line of fires. Am praying for rain to come and the winds to leave.

OH my.... I'm thinking you should move to an area where you don't have to worry so much! Do you go through this every year??
I'm giving thanks along with you Willow. Praying they will all be under control soon.
Hi Willow
Those fires are horrible! Praying for all those who lost their homes and for the safety of all!
Were you in Italy during Sept 11? That must have been scary!
